This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Competitive Service positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Applicants may be selected for any of the listed duty locations. Responsibilities Serve as senior manager leading and managing assigned areas of logistics support Develop milestones Ensure compliance with policies and recommend policy changes to fit requirements of new systems Represent the organization on high level boards, committees and study groups regarding logistics management issues Perform full range of supervisory duties Develop and present oral/written presentations to all levels of government and other management Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens The Presidential Memorandum, Return to In- Person Work, dated 20 January 2025, instructs all Federal agencies to require employees to return to work in-person on a full-time basis. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Policy formulation, implementation, and applying concepts to resolve logistics and program management issues; 2) Compliance and effectively utilizing assigned personnel; 3) Directing and coordinating the activities of a combined government staff of administrative and management support personnel; AND 4) Formulating organizational strategies, tactics, and budget/action plans to acquire and allocate resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the NH-03/GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone---no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Salaries are as follows: Korea and Germany - $106,382 to $162,672; Schofield Barracks, HI - $130,009 to $195,200; Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA - $139,967 to $195,200; Fort Cavazos, TX - $124,531 to $190,424; and Fort Liberty, NC - $130,041 to $195,200.
