This permanent position is an unaccompanied tour with the 401st Army Field Support Brigade located at Camp Arifjan Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan shield. Initial tour is (1) year with possible extensions. This is an Emergency Essential position. Responsibilities Serve as the Chief of Maintenance, responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and integrating operations and programs, across the AFSB area of responsibility (AOR). Provide technical program oversight to ensure timely operational support and integration for new or changing logistics/materiel concepts and requirements. Serve as the principal point of contact (POC) responsible for planning, coordinating, and integrating maintenance support operations Exercise personnel management responsibilities through direct supervision of military and /or civilian personnel and oversight of contractor personnel. Supervise staff performing maintenance management. Perform logistics management functions to ensure the most efficient and economical use of logistical resources in support of specified missions or programs.
