Summary About the Position: As a Supervisory Operations Analyst with U.S. ARMY FUTURES & CONCEPTS CENTER MEDICAL CDID, DUTY STATION: FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX you will be performing a wide variety of administrative management duties. This position is covered by a Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project. This position covered by this vacancy announcement is a part of STRL Demo Pay Band DE 3. Responsibilities Serves as multi-functional Analyst and Administrative Operations Officer for the Medical Capability Integration Directorate (CDID), Army Futures Command. Principal staff, multi-functional officer responsible for administration, current operations and contingency planning (less planning for mobilization of the training base). Acts on administration and operations tasks and contingency actions for the Med-CDID, formulating and recommending courses of action. Serves as subject matter expert for activities in the areas of administration, contingency missions and current operations. When tasked by higher headquarters formulates taskings for the Med-CDID staff and coordinates with subordinate directorates. Monitors and synchronizes key activities of the office of the Med-CDID. Coordinates administration operations plans and programs designated for supporting capability development, force structure, doctrine development, material development, training development, and training support for units. Coordinates with the respective unit staff offices all aspects of administrative operations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; (1) providing leadership to subordinate personnel, including evaluating work performance, providing feedback, and following-up on grievances and disciplinary actions as required to support the mission; (2) utilizing an automated system to track administrative work such as resource allocations, hiring actions, position descriptions, and awards; (3) reviewing personnel management operational resource plans (pay pool, command planning, and force review board) required to support varied levels of program operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE 02/GS-11).
