Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN in the Radiological Control Office (C105.4) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will manage a comprehensive training program for development of Radiological Control Technicians (RCTs) assigned to the Radiological Monitoring Division. You will implement changes to the training programs within the Radiological Control Office as needed to improve performance. You will ensure the technical accuracy and adequacy of the radiological control aspects of trade skills training programs developed by production, quality assurance, engineering and other radiological control personnel. You will provide oversight and training of the Emergency Response Field Team to support the Shipyard Emergency Response Program. You will determine Radiological training decisions required by the Corporate and local Shipyard for radiological changes and initiatives. You will resolve technical, scientific and engineering problems beyond the capability of subordinates and problems involving policy determination. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing and developing a radiological training program to evaluate technicians and identify weaknesses to ensure technical accuracy is maintained for an efficient workforce and safe training environment.
