Supervisory Program Analyst

Responsibilities Serves as the DLA Troop Support (TS) Supervisory Program Analyst (SPA) responsible for Risk Management (RM), Internal Controls (IC) and external audit liaison activities. Ensures program complies with applicable laws, directives and instructions so that the program's operations are efficiently and effectively performed, and reliable and timely information is obtained, maintained, reported and used for decision making. Accountable for maximizing support services, while simultaneously minimizing risks and reducing costs through effective forecasting of process analysis needs, planning, implementing and continuously improving. Plans, directs, coordinates, and organizes in-depth analyses and review of internal controls (IC) and related program requirements to comply with DoD guidelines. Develops local strategies, recommends innovative solutions to address issues, and ensures effectiveness, accuracy and consistency of the program in addressing the assessment of risks to the mission in assessable units. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Supervisory Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Develops operational objectives and resource estimates based on findings, ensuring efficient and effective operation of programs. Prepares or coordinates the preparation and release of progress and statistical reports. Spearheads development, coordination, interpretation and implementation of agency logistics, financial and administrative policies. Provides technical assistance and advisory services. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
