SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the Organic Product Development Office, Rapid Capability Engineering Group of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD. Responsibilities You will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of works. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommends official performance ratings. You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. You will interview candidates for positions in the unit; recommends appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions. You will hear and resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager. You will identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training. You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. You will make appropriate distinctions in levels of performance while equitably applying performance standards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as the portfolio lead for organic product development projects responsible for the supervision and technical leadership of employees. 2) Providing expert technical direction and leadership for a staff of engineers, technicians, IT professionals, and business support personnel executing organic product development efforts. 3) Managing priorities and develop tactical resource plans to facilitate project execution for a technical portfolio. 4) Serving as lead technical authority and provide project planning/management for the portfolio of work to support the design, development, integration, test, and installation of organically developed solutions.
