This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Administrative Resource Center (ARC), Office and Division as assigned. The mission of ARC is to promote government efficiency by delivering cost effective and quality administrative and financial services through a shared services model. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Program Manager (Division Director) you will: Provide leadership, guidance and practical support for data, program, operational, and system activities in a reliable and efficient manner in support of the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service) program missions. Participate, as a member of the Bureau's senior staff, in formulating short and long-range plans to ensure the continuing effectiveness of ARC's operational and administrative activities in support of its mission. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate program information and guidance to Federal agencies and interested parties. Provide policy and program objectives, make assignments, establishes deadlines, and ensure staff adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Requirements Conditions of Employment A one-year probationary period may be required. A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel. This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience for the GS-15 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, that includes applying program management principles to direct the day-to-day operations of an organization. Examples of such experience could include: Experience consulting with, making recommendations to and implementing solutions for executive level staff; OR Planning, organizing and directing operations to include growth management, cost control and savings; OR Experience advocating program services to potential users and stakeholders (e.g. developing professional networks); OR Experience leading people through organizational change In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
