SUPERVISORY RECREATION SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY RECREATION SPECIALIST in the MARINE CORPS AIR STATION of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR. Responsibilities You will plan and administer the activities and services of the Recreation Center and Single Marine Programs, active duty living in the barracks and involving a facility and surrounding outdoor recreation areas. You will within established agency policies and objectives, plan the community center program. You will plan and coordinate the details of recruiting activities special events, and joint community undertakings to make maximum use of facilities, services, and other resources. You will supervise, schedule and direct one (1) Marine Program Coordinator Recreation Assistant and up to 3 Recreation aides and interns. You will train, provide direction, schedule and evaluate employees work performance. You will Cooperate with Security, Fire, and Safety departments in the planning and maintaining adequate health and safety programs. You will provide guidance and leadership to the center’s various activities and participants, modifying, adapting, expanding, or otherwise changing plans and procedures for such activities as developments require. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Plans, administers the activities and services of the Recreation Center, within established agency policies and objectives, to include coordinates the details of recurring and non-recurring; activities, special events, and joint community undertakings to maximum use of facilities, services, and other resources.
