Summary Supervises back office staff assigning work and ensuring timely submission of various reports to accounting department. Performs the full range of supervisory functions to include hiring, training, performance evaluation, reward and recognition, discipline, work and leave schedules and payroll certification. Responsible for preparation and reconciliation of daily cash drawers, bank deposits, petty cash, monthly bank and receipt statements, daily accounting reports and other reports as required. Responsibilities Operate and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system. Provide training to employees on the system and assist with technical issues as needed. Analyzes and makes recommendations concerning revenue improvement, services, promotions, accounting compliance and operations. Compiles and analyzes inventory reports for merchandise preparation of future business planning. Performs, assists, recommends and enforces operating procedures and activities related to business operations, including but not limited to: inventory management, retail sales, report analysis, point of sales system and special events. Models exemplary customer service, including greeting, professional appearance, positive attitude in approaching customers. Responsible to follow all Army policies and reporting procedures. Execute special orders to include frame, engraving and all other special orders. Shares in duties with opening and closing of the store and occasionally on weekends. Attends all staff meetings and trainings as posted. Performs other tasks related to the store as needed. Attends all Army required training.
