Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the OCEAN ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (Code 120) of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing all Ocean Engineering program security, facility and information technology (IT) requirements at PSNS and IMF within our facilities in the local geographical area. You will develop and implement policies, procedures, and training to meet Ocean Engineering security, facility and IT requirements. You will direct and guide security specialists to implement procedures and guidelines that affect actions of every department at PSNS and IMF C/120. You will be responsible to ensure the management of Ocean Engineering program security, facility and IT policies are adhered to by all personnel who provide support to the Ocean Engineering department. You will conduct security, facility and IT inspections of all Ocean Engineering spaces and areas of responsibility and reviews and manages the sub-custodians involved in Ocean Engineering programs. You will Initiate and complete indoctrinations, briefings and debriefings, access roster updates, educational and re-indoctrination programs for all PSNS and IMF personnel involved with Ocean Engineering. You will evaluates employees work performance, manages employee training and development, and administers awards and appropriate disciplinary actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex security issues and problems related to policies, procedures, and information technology (IT) requirements.
