SUPERVISORY SENIOR GLOBAL FORCE MANAGEMENT FORCE ANALYST (CONTINGENCY SOURCING)
Summary This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising a group of Subject Matter Experts assigned to each of the Combatant command (CCMD) regions addressing all issues regarding Joint Staff roles, responsibilities, processes, planning guidance. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY SENIOR GLOBAL FORCE MANAGEMENT FORCE ANALYST (CONTINGENCY SOURCING) at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Principal advisor to the Deputy Chief and Chief GFM Policy, Process and Technology (PP&T) Division (GS15/06) for administrative, operational and management functions of the Branch. Oversees and directs the actions of the staff assigned to the branch. Sets a series of annual work plans/schedules, determines goals and objectives, and determines the best approach or solution for resolving budget shortages. Evaluates work performance of subordinates and review/approves all final work products before forwarding to Division Chief for final approval or inputs. Monitors the coordination of assigned civilian and military personnel and reserve military officers within the Branch, scheduling requirements to include leave, travel, temporary duty, training, and de-conflicts all events within the Branch. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Expert in the field of contingency sourcing, strategic planning, and associated DoD policies, regulations, and force sourcing/deployment practices. Leading, conducting, and ensuring timely completion of Resourcing Guidance and Contingency Sourcing of Strategic Planning Framework (SPF), Priority Integrated Plan Sets (PIPS), and Integrated Plan Sets (IPS) as directed in the Joint Strategic Campaign Plan. Providing branch management, direction, and oversight of internal and external operational relationships supporting planned operations and command positions. Identifying developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training. Developing and monitoring active and reserve officer, Time and Attendance, and travel requirements for submission. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
