About the Position: Serve as the Supervisory Supply Management Specialist with the responsibility for the material management, requisition, accountability, storage, distribution, and turn-in of supplies, materials, and equipment. Responsibilities Manage and direct the daily operations of supply and storage personnel to provide material management functions to support material requirements and logistics work center missions. Requisition, receive, store, transport, and issue supplies, equipment, and material that support the logistics work centers of manufacturing, cadet supply and services, food preparation, transportation, and harbor craft. Review logistical reports and support plans for accuracy, improvement, and compliance with mandated requirements. Serve as the material manager on all installation and mission related stock and supply items. Utilize supply/material management automated systems such as Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD), and Standard Property Book System-Redesigned (SPBS-R). Assist with conducting comprehensive studies and analysis of proposed or directed changes to support requirements.
