Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst

About the Position: Serves as a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst in Army Materiel Command (AMC) for the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC). Responsibilities Support functional business processes in the order management and inventory management business areas. Oversee a small team of personnel and provides advice, guidance, and expertise in maintaining fully operational system applications, systems, logic, and tools. Manage the team in investigating trends in performance to identify the root cause(s) of repeated/patterned issues and provides resolutions to complex problems that arise with organizations. Analyze data and reports provided by subordinate employees to ensure system accuracy and advises the team on actions to remediate issues to resolve data quality and system interface issues. Provide consultation and evaluation to Leadership with respect to current and long-range supply objectives, programs, plans, and policies. Apply expert knowledge and skill in the concepts and theories of logistics mgmt. in order to lead the staff in conducting studies to develop operational methodology, analyze the impact of existing activities against current and projected resources. Recommend feasible alternatives, determine milestone events, and develop, coordinate, and maintain the logistics portion of contingency, mobilization, or other plans. Develop employee performance standards, measurable objectives, individual development plans, and sets regular and recurring goals.
