Supervisory Utilities Specialist (Water/Waste water)
Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will begin serve as the Division Director, overseeing contract operations, in providing the water and waste water services necessary to ensure the customer missions are met. You will plan coordinate and direct the organization and functions of the Division. You will provide detailed evaluations, based on monitoring incentive provisions within the contract guidelines, for use by the Award Fee Board (AFB) in recommending the ward fee. You will develop, justify and execute annual budget requirements for the water and wastewater commodity and overhead budgets. You will be responsible for providing commodities forecast, participating in budget variance reviews and providing billing reconciliation with customers. You will supervise and coordinate the work of GS personnel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) tools, systems applications, and programs. Develop new methods, approaches, or problems. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments. This position is also subject to a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) currently set at 11.88%. COLA is subject to change without notice.
