What you’ll be doing:
Coordinate supplier diversity Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier reporting activities, including, customer reporting, internal stakeholder reporting and third-party industry organizational reporting requests.Analyze supplier diversity reporting to ensure performance against targets are achieved.On a bi-annual basis, validate and maintain accuracy of small business self-certifications.Support preparation and filing of any customer Small Business Subcontracting Plan.Provide support of audit activities.Develop and execute small and diverse supplier strategies, based on data analysis from various internal sources and systems (SAP and etc.) to proactively identify annual sourcing opportunities.Serve as subject matter expert on supplier diversity initiatives and small and diverse supplier capabilities.Drive increased engagement amongst Procurement colleagues with diverse suppliers through meetings, presentations, and the understanding of the sourcing landscape within each category.Manage, review and respond to inquiries from various channels, including supplier diversity mailbox.Maintain and update Supplier Diversity sites as well as supplier diversity content on Staples advantage/. com.Identify qualified, prospective small and diverse suppliers and facilitates introductory discussions with Procurement colleagues.Manage and support internal Supplier Diversity events, including event focus, logistics, marketing.Collaborate with internal stakeholder, including HR Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), to gain support and endorsement of Staples small and diverse supplier strategy and to ensure alignment of respective strategies.Benchmark industry best practices in supplier diversity programs and implement appropriate practices into Staples supplier diversity strategy.What you bring to the table:

5+ years of relevant experience is required which can include Procurement, Sustainability and/or Supplier Diversity workMust have competency with MS office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Must have 3 years of knowledge of the sourcing process and have experience with supplier relationshipWhat’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreeCompetency with procurement systems (including Ariba, SAP, Power BI, Ironclad, Supplier IO etc.) and processesExperience in working within a matrixed environment and have strong project management and organizational skillsKnowledge and familiarity of government subcontracting reporting requirementsWe Offer:
