Supplier Enablement Lead

JOB SUMMARY
The Supplier Enablement Lead is responsible for working with Charter Category Managers and Business Units, current and future Charter suppliers to understand and document existing supplier enablement and management processes in order to define the scope, responsibilities, methodology and approach required to enable the supplier base on the Ariba P2P platform.  Additionally, the Supplier Enablement Lead is responsible for defining the scope, responsibilities, methodology and approach required for the suppliers looking for the integration due to high volume.  

As a member of the Procurement Team, the Supplier Enablement Lead serves as an Ariba and SAP S/4 Hana Solutions expert on supplier enablement and management. This role is responsible for evaluating business process policies, formulating recommendations for process change related to supplier management and obtaining approval for any process change.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceCreate Supplier Enablement strategy and proceduresCommunicate Supplier Enablement Program benefits, requirements, and timelines to stakeholdersDrive suppliers to register on the B2B collaboration platformCommunicate the processes for order or contract receipt, order confirmation, shipping and invoicing with the supplierTrain suppliers in the use of Purchase Order flip, Advance Ship Notices, Order Confirmation, Invoice against Contract, any new functionality and/or change expectations. Create training materialsLead supplier connectivity and invoice validation testing, catalog validation as applicableLead the integration projects with high transaction volume suppliers including requirements, technical specification discussions, design, development and testing effortsRecommend strategies/business process changes applicable to Supplier Enablement processes using quantitative/qualitative data and/or sound reasoningCommunicate to effectively resolve problems or issues; be proactive in communication (i.e., face-to-face meetings and phone calls are more frequent than emails)
Build solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at Charter and externally via Ariba/industry resources)
Come up with quantitative/qualitative data strategy and/or sound reasoning for addressing recurring issues
Establish credibility as a conduit for suppliers (e.g., positive customer feedback)
Work with Procurement Lead and other functional areas e.g., accounts payable, legal, category managers, IT to determine what resources/skills are needed and brings them in as necessary, as applied to Supplier Enablement
Maintain regular communication with team members (e.g., face-to-face, via voicemails, emails) so everyone understands what the others are working on
Lead teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution delivery (e.g., change in scope)
Communicate to Business Units and P2P program lead as suppliers become availableRun Scheduled TasksWork with Procurement to establish metrics, frequency and distribution of reportsPerform other duties as assigned

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishEffective written, verbal, and presentation skillsBroad knowledge of Procure to pay processes, vendor managementAbility to execute with minimal guidance and with strong initiativeDemonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale projectsDemonstrated analytical and organizational skillsRelated Work Experience Number of YearsExperience with “Big 5” consulting firms or comparable 7+
tems implementation, process re-engineering or a related disciplineEducation
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or technical discipline

Demonstrated Project Management or PMP certification

Telecommunications/cable industry experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $60,900.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
