About the role
The Supplier Engineer concentrates on all aspects of supplier management, supplier process & material changes. This role provides technical support for Angiojet mfg lines at the Dorado site. The Supplier Engineering Team is responsible for the pending Component Qualifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

Execution of component qualifications for Angiojet mfg lines.Foster open and transparent communication with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to align supplier/component performance with company goals.Participates in large-scale projects or leads smaller-scale projects under guidance from senior engineering staff.Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or a total project of moderate scope.Interfaces with suppliers with support cross-functional team members to support the investigation of supplied material issues or supply constraints.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably biomedical.3+ years of relevant work experience as a Supplier Engineer or similar.Proficiency in statistical tools, such as Minitab.Proficiency in report writing skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in a regulated environment per ISO13485 and FDA guidelines.
