Supplier Governance Manager – Salary £47500 to £52500

A bit about the job:
In this role you will support the Senior Supply Manager in the Health Supplier Governance function providing oversight of the entire Aviva Health supplier landscape to ensure compliance to the Procurement & Outsourcing Business Standard, and providing Senior Management with assurance that they are appropriately meeting their supplier management accountabilities. Ensuring any identified risks are mitigated through the Controls framework and Controls can be evidenced as effective. You will govern and drive effectiveness of the Aviva Health UK (AHUK) suppliers. This involves reviewing and updating of processes, policies and procedures, whilst collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure services delivered through suppliers meet business requirements.
You will be responsible for managing a small team through which Quality Assurance oversight will be provided, helping to ensure AHUK Supplier Owners manage the AHUK supplier landscape effectively and in compliance with the P&O Standard and Controls. You will identify of risks, issues and opportunities for AHUK business arising from the external markets.
In addition, you will ensure all Risks, Controls, Issues, Risk Events and Actions are actively owned as required. Ensure they are up to date, with actions and any ‘route to green’ plans are agreed as required, with target dates and owners that are tracked.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience of supplier management and governance is a must – ideally within the Financial Services industry.
Full understanding of Risk & Control environment.
Good knowledge of business controls standard and methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Advanced planning, prioritising, and organisational skills with the ability to be flexible in a short notice – comfortable with ambiguity.

Starting salary between £47500 and £52500 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
