Supplier Management Analyst
Hybrid schedule 3 days per week on site As part of our Forward Model Launch Team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us. As a key member of the MP&L Supplier Management team, you can add critical value to the entire organization. You will have the opportunity to be part of Ford’s transformation in the Supply Chain space. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain both at supplier side and internally so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want. With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career and help us define tomorrow’s transportation. + Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure effective communication and cooperation. + Lead training our suppliers in various geographic locations on Ford’s new ERP system SAP (MM Module). + Monitor and analyze supplier performance data to identify areas for improvement. + Conduct Launch Readiness reviews / audits with suppliers for new model programs (Vehicle & Powertrain Operations NA) at supplier sites. + Clear documentation of findings & analysis in Super G Ford Supplier readiness system + Lead evaluation of suppliers for Ford Plants’ Capacity Uplifts & Shift additions + Rate supplier’s readiness for each program and ensure 100% audits are completed 30 days prior to MP1 (Mass Production 1). + Perform risk analysis and act on findings within the Technical Teams and Forums for new, critical, or greenfield/brownfield suppliers. + Collaborate with STA (Supplier Technical Assistance) / Purchasing to ensure supplier noncompliance issues pertaining to launch readiness are escalated on time & resolved. + Provide onsite MP&L support, assistance, education, and training for distressed suppliers. + Root cause analysis in super G to understand and work with suppliers to improve delivery performance. + Act as MP&L lead for Ford supplier engagement teams. + Support current production in emergency situations with onsite reviews and/or extended onsite MP&L support. + Travel to suppliers & plant locations (in some cases travel may be for multiple days) (USA visa) + Collaborate with Purchasing on Sourcing/Resourcing Actions + Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Master's degree preferred + 3+ years of experience in in OEM or Tier1 company, with a preference for the automotive industry + Knowledge and Deep understanding of Supply Chain Management software SAP – MM Module + Strong knowledge in Ford MP&L (Supply Chain) systems like CMMS, Super G, GCP,MCPV Preferred + New supplier evaluation and supplier development + Supplier Delivery Performance (KPI) monitoring and improvement + Critical/Constraint Supplier Management + Proven track record in supply chain operations(Inbound flows / Packaging / Outbound flows / Diversity / Demand & Supply planning / In-plant Logistic operations / Warehouse management) + Well versed with MS Office Tools (excel, PowerPoint, etc.) + Experience in Large Data Handling/Management **Competencies & Skills:** + Strong Data Analytical Skills to gather data from multiple sources to identify root causes, trends & insights and recommend operational improvements on Supplier Delivery Performance + Strong story telling capabilities with data to enable data driven decision making benefiting the organization DISCLAIMER Ford Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed with a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability. **Requisition ID** : 41429
