Job Summary: The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that all products and materials supplied to MFT EMEA meet our stringent quality standards. The SQE will work closely with suppliers to develop and implement quality assurance processes, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Assess and qualify new suppliers based on their quality systems, capabilities, and performance.
Quality Audits: Conduct regular audits of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplier materials and components, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, audit results, and quality issues.
Compliance: Ensure all supplier activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between MFT EMEA and its suppliers for quality-related matters.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in SAP, Quality management software and Microsoft Office.
