Supplier Quality Engineer

Position Summary

We're looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Arco (TN) Italy Location.
 
Management of the supplier PPAP to validate parts for use in production, non conformities, supplier KPI of the plant and be part of the team for the new project release.
 

Main Responsibilities Evaluate and manage the PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) for new programs, engineering changes and process improvements received by suppliers. Monitor supplier Quality through Dana1Source for compliance and current requirements as needed for the business unit, identifying and escalating high impact issues     Travel to suppliers as necessary for quality discussion . Generate and distribute visitation reports. Monitoring and tracking prevention and resolution of Supplier issue Ability to work in a team environment and foster continuous improvement in all aspects of the plant operations Prepare periodic reports and other data to expose to managers and/or plant personnel Review and Approve of Supplier PPAP submission Maintain and Monitor Supplier non-conformities Trace and review status of engineering deviations and change reports Support APQP process

 

Main opportunities and challenges:

In the role you have the chance to be the reference person for Arco plant in the Supplier Quality, to meet the Supplier Quality reference and understand the details of the processes of the entire supply chain.

 

Job position requirements

Education:        University bachelor degree: Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

 

Professional background

•             1 - 3 years experience in similar position is a plus

Hard skills

Essential:         

•             English medium level is mandatory

•             Strong technical knowledge on industrial processes

•             Strong knowledge on problem solving methodologies

•             Strong knowledge on technical drawing comprehension

•             Strong computer skills. High computer’s skills in MSO & internet

Considered as a plus: 

•             SAP Knowledge

•             Knowledge of ISO9001 and/or IATF16949

Soft skills

•             Good team working

•             Accuracy on all the activities is mandatory

•             Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana and external suppliers

•             Must be self-starter and able to work with collaboration with other departments.
