Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage operational supplier quality, on or off-site, ensuring the supplier qualification and development processes are executed in full. Drive both corrective and preventive actions with the suppliers, based on maturity and performance. Manage the supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tManages operational supplier quality, including validating the supplier's quality systems and the quality of the supplier's processes. •\tDrives approval of supplier parts, materials and project subcontractor service activities, as applicable; this might include close coordination with other functions/experts and where applicable includes PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites. •\tEnsures suppliers remain in compliance with company’s Code of Conduct, ethics and corporate governance, and applicable regulatory requirements. •\tLeads the quick reaction of supply issues related to quality issues, deliveries, non- conforming products or project services.

Qualifications for the role

\t4 to 6 years of work experience in similar field.\tFull time engineering degree from an accredited institution. \tKnowledge of Supplier Quality Management tools and systems.\tWell versed with reporting, monitoring and disposition of quality, delivery, cost and compliance metrics.
