Job Summary:
The Quality Analysis / Quality Control Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards. This role involves conducting quality inspections, performing data analysis, and developing and implementing quality control plans. The Quality Specialist works closely with cross functional teams to address quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring quality staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring Product Quality
• Conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in process products, and finished goods
• Identifying and reporting any quality issues
• Communicating with relevant departments to address and resolve quality concerns
Maintaining quality standards
• Developing and implementing quality control procedures
• Regularly reviewing and updating quality control processes
• Training employees on quality control protocols
Conducting data analysis
• Collecting and analyzing data on product quality
• Identifying trends and patterns in data to improve processes and prevent defects
• Creating reports and presenting findings to management
Participating in process improvement
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues
Ensuring compliance
• Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and standards
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Developing and maintaining documentation of quality control processes and procedures
Managing quality control equipment
• Calibrating and maintaining testing equipment
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs
• Ensuring equipment is properly used and maintained by employees
Performing quality control checks
• Reviewing and approving product specifications and quality control procedures
• Conducting thorough inspections and tests on products
• Documenting and reporting quality control results
Leading quality control projects
• Identifying areas for improvement and developing project plans
• Coordinating and delegating tasks to team members
• Monitoring progress and ensuring project goals are met.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
• Experience with conducting inventory audits and implementing process improvements.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve inventory issues
• Proven ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organization.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
• Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
