Job Title: Supplier Quality EngineerJob Description
Works with the Service Organization, Service Supply Chain, and Suppliers to continuously improve the performance of key system components by implementing process controls and developing quality assurance plans.
Responsibilities
+ Develop Supplier Scorecard, track KPIs, and work with suppliers on action plans to improve performance.
+ Audit and assess Suppliers’ Processes on a regular basis.
+ Oversee new part validation process, including FAI, setting up incoming inspection requirements, and verification of Cpk data.
+ Track Non Conformance (MRB).
+ Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
+ Implement Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA).
+ Monitor Cost Of Poor Quality (COPQ).
+ Participate as a member of the Material Review Board to review and disposition Supplier related Non-conformance Material Reports.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in quality engineering focused on supplier development and control.
+ 2+ years of experience in auditing suppliers.
+ 2+ years of experience in the development of supplier scorecards or CAPAs or SCARs.
+ Proficiency in Quality Standards, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Engineering.
+ Strong skills in Statistical Analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ Experience with SCAR, CAPA, CpK, PPAP, Control plan, Non Conformance, and Audit.
+ Ability to use various tools to manage suppliers and improve supplier performance.
Work Environment
The position will have a desk and the opportunity to work from home on some days, providing some flexibility. The role will also require 10-15% travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
