Basic requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or above;At least 5 yeas working experience in supplier quality management in the Mechanics parts. (E.g. Machining, stamping, welding, assembly, casting, painting, plating, etc.) with a strong technical backgroundProduct and process auditing experience, management system auditing experience with ISO 9001Familiar with quality tools such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.Language requirements: Fluent in both spoken and written languageStrong interpersonal and communication skills and can interface with many parties at all levels in an international and cross-cultural environmentGood analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills accompanied by an excellent project management approach with strong stakeholder management capabilitiesSelf-driven and self-motivated to learn and coach others to produce resultsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally (~ 30% of the time)Add-ons that will make the application stronger:
Certification within Lean and/or Six Sigma green beltUnderstand automotive industry quality practices such as VDA 6.3, IATF16949Strong background in mechanic engineering and/or material sciencesRole & Responsibility for SQM:
Optimize supplier base together with Sourcing department; According to the Global Supplier Quality Maturity Assessment requirements, determine the scope of the assessment and conduct a supplier maturity assessment; According to the annual audit plan, audit the key suppliers; Monitor and track the quality performance of the key suppliers, take timely actions to ensure supplier performance levels; During the development of new suppliers, conduct supplier audits and collaborate with the team to evaluate and score; As the owner of SQM CR, ensure the timeliness and quality of secondary supply development; During the development of product CR, complete the corresponding quality verification work on the supplier side; Cooperate with procurement and MM in ensuring timely delivery of suppliers; Responsible for guiding and verifying supplier CAPA when quality issues caused by supplier.
