Your tasks and responsibilities:

You are part of the global supplier quality management team and ensure that the requirements of the Varian quality management system for the radiotherapy systems production units in EMEA are metYou are responsible for the quality standards with regard to supplier quality in the production process, ensure the continuous delivery capability of our systems by complying with them, checking and optimizing themYou are the interface to suppliers with regard to material quality and supplier managementYou qualify suppliers in accordance with company standards and take part in supplier auditsYou will monitor material quality from procurement to delivery to production and service. You will work in an interdisciplinary and international team and communicate and solve supplier-related problems as soon as they arise

Your qualifications and experience:

You have a degree in engineering, a comparable technical / scientific discipline or have completed technical vocational training and further trainingYou have professional experience in the manufacturing environment, ideally in medical technology. Points of contact in quality management with suppliers are a further plusWe also welcome newcomers to medical technology! We will provide you with all the training you need to fulfill your role as a quality engineerYou have knowledge and experience in the quality management system, standards and government regulations for medical devices, e.g. ISO 13485, MDSAP, 21CFR820, or a similarly regulated environmentYou have experience in SAP / MES and MS Office and are willing to familiarize yourself with other IT applications


Your profile and skills:

You communicate fluently in German and English, both written and spoken, in order to be able to exchange ideas easily both within the team and in contact with other departmentsYou will be willing to travel up to 25%, mainly within EMEA.
