**What you’ll do:**
+ To support and act as key contact for Suppliers and the SQ resource allocated to the team to achieve the following:
+ Act as the Point of Contact for Quality Issues for all allocated Suppliers
+ To act as the POC for allocated IPT for issues that cross multiple SC streams
+ Maintain the Supplier List and Audit schedule for all allocated Suppliers
+ Meet the Supplier Quality requirements of the Supply Chain in respect to:
+ Provision of timely SQE Subject Matter Expertise
+ Supplier audits
+ Supplier development
+ RCCA management
+ NOE follow up
+ Attendance at arising meetings including MRB / EFRB / FRB
+ Attendance at drum beat meeting including Tier Boards and MRBs
+ Line management of SQEs including tasking, performance management, and recruitment.
+ Provide SQ skills to the SC team to ensure that Suppliers are appropriately selected, assessed and managed
+ Support the allocated SC team with selection / assessment and management of Suppliers
+ Investigate Quality failing of Suppliers and ensure that RCCA is carried out to reduce / eliminate / mitigate recurrence
+ Ensure Quality Management System compliance throughout the Product Lifecycle
+ Generate Quality metrics and associated tracking to met set targets.
+ Determination and implementation of Quality improvement initiatives.
+ Inspection process adherence and associated support for physical and document sign-off of product prior to despatch.
+ Co-operate with management to meet the employer’s legal duties; read and comply to the site Safety Health & Environment Policy; and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions
**Qualifications:**
Technical Degree or equivalent experience
**Skills:**
+ Good working knowledge of Quality Standards such as AS9100, AS9110, Part 21 (G), Part 145, DAOS
+ Good working knowledge of AS9145, APQP, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA, MSA, Cont Plans
+ Support structured problem solving and robust Root Cause and Corrective Action techniques eg 8D, RCCA, 5-Why
+ Actively implemented proactive and preventive Quality techniques
+ Experience in managing and leading teams.
**Core competencies:**
+ Proven background in Supplier Quality and thorough understanding of Quality tools and techniques
+ QMS implementation and auditing to recognised aerospace standards
+ Excellent root cause analysis and corrective action understanding.
+ Core competency demonstrated within one or more of the following specialties: Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Composites.
+ Further competencies will be provided via the competency matrix, and linked to the relevant job level

+ Monitoring and reporting of all allocated suppliers assessed as High Risk and under special measures
