Job TitleSupplier Quality Manager

Job Description

Ensure that the Quality systems at our Suppliers and within Philips, as well as our Supplier's products & services, meet relevant Purchasing Controls requirements.

You are responsible for supplier qualification, audits, SCARs, performance monitoring, external inspections/audits of Purchasing controls, product risk assessments and training.

Your role:

Exercising a multi-disciplinary approach and applying knowledge of Supplier Quality principles, theories and concepts; including ASL (Approved Supplier List) management, auditing, SCAR coordination, performance monitoringProduct onboarding and Quality Transition PlansExecuting and documenting compliance verification as part of 3rd Party Product onboarding and defining verification inspection plans where applicableParticipating in the supplier selection and qualification process, incl. Supplier Audits preparation, execution, and documentation.Supporting the Approved Supplier List management, incl. evidence of evaluation records Issuing Supplier Corrective Actions Requests (SCARs) and Quality Notifications to suppliers and ensuring completionGiving input to purchasing control processes, procedures & systems in compliance with applicable regulationsParticipating/supporting integration and validation of purchasing procedures with supporting IT and data applications for effective operationalizationFrequently interacting with functional peer groups, demonstrating the ability to gain cooperation of others, leading/participating in cross-functional projectsExercising judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate action

The EMEA Supplier Quality team consists of about 30 supplier quality managers supporting the Philips Businesses and Regions in EMEA.

You are the right fit if:

3+ years of relevant experience in a similar functionAuditing skill-sets, up to and including certified SQ lead auditor and ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO19011, FDA and EU MDR working knowlegdeExperience in Manufacturing Processes and familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, production/quality development and control methods: CtQ definition, DfSS, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.Expertise in problem solving with quality tools.Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) Ownership, Execution and Independent ReviewKnowledge of LEAN: Including Daily ManagementFluent level of English, other languages are a plusAbility to prioritize and work in a structured mannerGood Team player with good communication skills
