How you will make an impact as a Supplier Quality Specialist:Perform supplier qualifications in support of QMS including, supplier audits, review of Quality Agreements, review of certifications, and review of supplier surveys.Documentation supportMaintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL)Review and support Supplier Corrective Action requests (SCARs) and responsesWork with cross-functional teams to integrate and communicate supplier expectationsFacilitate meetings between Engineering, Supplier Management, and PurchasingMonitor supplier performance and supplier qualifications to assist in maintaining the status of the supplierSupport development and maintenance of supplier management procedures and processesSupport supplier management process improvementsSupport QMS collection and trending of supplier-related quality dataManage and maintain supplier quality databasesSupport supplier audits and inspectionsTo be successful as a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will need the following skills and experience:Must have a Bachelor's degreeMust have experience in a documentation focused industryMust have experience working within an administrative systemCustomer/Vendor/Supplier communication experienceStrong written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail requiredAbility to work with cross-functional teams and in a collaborative environmentAbility to review and analyze data for accuracy and interpret and speak to the documented resultsSkilled in various computer programs. Including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, ERP and MRP tools
