Job Description Purpose + Reporting to the Supplier Quality Supervisor, this role supports the Supplier Quality Supervisor by being responsible for assuring that the Site’s Supplier Quality management system supports Quality and Operational purposes and is compliant with applicable AbbVie and Regulatory requirements + The Supplier Quality Specialist is accountable to ensure oversight on the site’s supplier quality processes are executed in accordance to AbbVie Quality Policies and Procedures + The Supplier Quality Specialist is accountable to ensure site CAPA systems are executed according to AbbVie policy. Major Responsibilities Compliance + Manage low risk investigations arising from materials nonconformity with cross functional team + Manage low risk supplier change control with cross functional team + Support performance measurements of the Supplier Quality Management business processes + Manage Site CAPA systems and support monitoring program + Coordinate site supplier quality issues (such as deviations), audit assessments and subsequent follow-up actions + Ensure compliance with applicable AbbVie policies, processes and procedures, contributing to the execution of strategies and oversight of Supplier Quality programs + Support and administration are provided timely for all supplier related quality activities to the high throughput multi-products plants with 24/7 operations while maintaining customer satisfaction service level + Maintain high levels of Customer satisfaction by positively managing internal and external relationships + Promote and follow safety work practices in the workplace + Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Supplier Quality Supervisor Operational Excellence- Project/New Product Introduction + Support global supplier quality team initiatives or other site improvement projects e.g. New Product Introduction + Support cross functional projects where necessary Qualifications Education + Bachelor’s degree in sciences (e.g. Biology, Chemistry), Pharmacy, or Engineering Degree or equivalent Key Skills, Experience, and Competencies + Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in cGMP + Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is preferred + Knowledge in Supplier Quality Management and regulations is preferred + Experience in SAP, Trackwise are preferred + Good communicator with experience with internal stakeholders is required + Highly Motivated, Independent, Organized and Growth mindset + Able to be a team player and collaborate with different departments and all levels of the organization + Agile and able to respond to business urgent requests + Microsoft office skills Additional Information AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives, serving our community and embracing diversity and inclusion.
