Boeing is building the MQ-28 Ghost Bat—a next-generation autonomous drone—and we need Supplier Quality Specialists to ensure our supply chain delivers excellence. This is your chance to be at the cutting edge of aerospace innovation while working with top-tier suppliers to drive quality, compliance, and performance.
These roles report to the Supplier Quality Manager and works closely with the MQ-28 Quality and Production Leadership. You will be expected to work under their general direction to independently determine and develop approaches to solve complex and challenging problems and deliver solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organisation objectives and Quality Management System standards and processes.
What You'll Do:
Conduct supplier audits & assessments to maintain top-quality standardsInspect & verify components for compliance with aerospace requirementsAssess supplier capability & capacity for current and future programsProvide coaching & support on quality systems and regulatory compliance to our suppliers, embodying the values of the Australian Industry Capability (AIC)Play a key role in delivering the MQ-28 Ghost Bat to operational readinessWho We're Looking For:
Quality professionals with supplier management & auditing experienceKnowledge of aerospace regulations, AS9100, and compliance standardsStrong problem-solving skills & a proactive approach to continuous improvementExperience working with cutting-edge technology & advanced manufacturingStrong experience working though Root Cause Corrective Action methodologies, e.g. 8D, ICAM.Be an Australian Citizenship to ensure you have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Department of Defence clearance up to NV1 level.The role will be based in Brisbane with travel as needed to supplier locations.
