Overview of the role
We are looking for a candidate that ensures delivery of goods and services is complete, with good quality standard, and agreed to the order.
Key Accountabilities
Ensures that deliveries are received and matched against Purchase order item description, quantity, price, pack size and due delivery date Inspects items and ensure that they are according to specs and quality requirements. If highly technical, enjoin participation of the requesting department (example: Engineering & IT) Ensure compliance to HACCP/ ISO requirements i.e. temperature, delivery vehicle condition & type, expiry dating, grooming of delivery personnel including hair restrain & lab gown Prepares RR (Receiving Reports) for all items received Prepares Undelivered Items Report and submit to the Purchasing Officer for necessary follow up with the vendors
General Requirements
2-5 years experience in warehousing and stores as Receiving staff in hospitality or manufacturing environment Graduate of a 4 year course Proficient in MS Excel and Word Knowledge in relevant Materials Control systems is a plus i.e. Birchstreet, SAP, Oracle, Redrock etc.
