Within Purchasing Global Central Function, in Purchasing Process & Systems area, as Supplier Sustainability Specialist, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
Evaluating suppliers sustainability in terms of: selection and engagement of suppliers, follow-up of supplier questionnaire completion, reporting of the suppliers' sustainability status and progress, also in collaboration with relevant areas in the company (ESG).Ensuring the analysis and monitoring of supplier performances, in order to ensure they meet sustainability criteria, including respect for human rights, governance and environmental standards.
Contributing to the purchasing decarbonization program: develop yearly assessment of corporate CO2 emissions, with particular regards to Scope 3 evaluation, by setting decarbonization targets for suppliers and monitoring relevant improvements in order to meet mid and long term Corporate decarbonization objectives.
Developing, implementing and updating supplier sustainability policies and procedures for all purchasing organizational structures.
Contributing to the elaboration of metrics and reports relevant to supplier sustainability.
Managing the organization of internal and external events (e.g. training and workshops) in order to raise awareness of supplier sustainability and participation to Corporate objectives.
Participating in meetings and working groups related to supplier sustainability and managing requests from internal and external stakeholders (e.g. audits/questionnaires)
Developing and optimizing tools, methods and best practices to improve supplier sustainability.
Minimum requirements
Degree preferably in Engineering (Chemical/Environmental Engineering) or Environment Science At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing companies (Automotive Industry would be a plus) or consultancy companies, managing sustainability issues with particular involvement on purchasing and Scope 3 emission calculation Fluent in English Availability to travel
