Supplier Warranty Senior Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Warranty Senior Manager to join our Service and Warranty team at our headquarters in Lisle, IL. The Supplier Warranty Senior Manager is responsible for leading supplier warranty recovery efforts through commercial warranty agreements and active participation in the supplier recovery portal. This role involves managing warranty claims, overseeing material analysis and inspection for returns, and ensuring effective control over department planning, staffing, and budgeting. The Senior Manager will prioritize expenses and recommend and implement changes to methods as needed. Key responsibilities include adapting and executing business plans, contributing to the development of departmental strategies, and overseeing the staffing and budgeting of the San Antonio Product Return Center, including both SG&A and capital budgets. Responsibilities Provide oversight, leadership, and mentorship to the Supplier Warranty team. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to identify and resolve warranty issues, aiming to minimize warranty costs and optimize supplier quality. Coordinate the adjudication process for Supplier Warranty (acceptance and rejection ratios) and focus on achieving warranty recovery KPIs. Monitor and review supplier warranty claims to identify trends, root causes of defects, and potential areas for improvement in product quality. Develop Supplier Warranty processes and procedures, support areas of process improvement, and provide timely financial and operational recovery reporting. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier warranty costs, claim resolution time, and supplier quality improvement initiatives. Report and address Supplier Warranty activities (achievements and roadblocks), including progress towards targets, to all levels of Service and Warranty Leadership. ________________________________________ Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree At least 10 years of field service, engineering, product management, or reliability experience in a customer-facing role At least 4 years of management experience OR Master's degree At least 8 years of field service, engineering, product management, or reliability experience in a customer-facing role At least 4 years of management experience OR At least 12 years of field service, engineering, product management, or reliability experience in a customer-facing role At least 4 years of management experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
