**Position Overview:**
The majority of this role is comprised of basic distribution of supplies and equipment to the facility departments under close supervision.
Able to receive and unpacks supplies, rotates stock and check for outdates materials and supplies as needed. Gains confidence and cooperation from entry-level employees through competent job performance and routine communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of our patients. May be authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs and dangerous devices - including needles and syringes, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:**
DISTRIBUTION SERVICES
• Responsible for basic counting, restocking, and delivering supplies and equipment.
• Competently unpacks supplies, rotates stock and checks for outdates.
• Ships and receives parcels from various shipping companies.
• Processes and files all associated paperwork.
• Inputs, processes and receives stock within ERP on daily basis.
• Expedites delivery of ordered materials and supplies to various departments.
• Performs duties, according to policy and procedure, in an expedient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operates and troubleshoots equipment and technology necessary for job performance.
• Ensures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.
SAFETY
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment.
• May decontaminate, sterilize and reprocess supplies, equipment, instruments, various trays, and linen.
• Performs job responsibilities in compliance with department standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local, state and federal regulatory agencies to deliver the highest level of service.
**EDUCATION:**
HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:**
Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel.
Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems.
Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Build collaborates relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objective.

Pay Range is $23.00 to $28.75 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
