Supply Chain Analyst
Description We are looking for a highly analytical and organized Supply Chain Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves managing and optimizing co-packaging (co-pack) and co-manufacturing (co-man) operations while leveraging ERP systems to enhance supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to streamline processes, resolve system issues, and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain ERP modules related to supply chain operations, including Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP). • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues affecting co-pack and co-man operations, working closely with IT and other stakeholders. • Analyze supply chain workflows and data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations. • Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams and external co-pack/co-man partners, ensuring alignment on production schedules and quality standards. • Develop and implement processes to monitor and report on production activities carried out by co-packers and co-manufacturers. • Collaborate with procurement and quality assurance teams to manage vendor relationships and track performance metrics. • Identify inefficiencies in current ERP configurations and propose system enhancements to improve co-pack and co-man processes. • Create detailed reports on supply chain performance metrics, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and vendor KPIs. • Document ERP workflows and provide training to team members on system updates and best practices. • Support the testing and implementation of ERP updates, particularly those impacting co-pack and co-man activities. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, IT, or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain operations, with a focus on ERP systems. • Hands-on experience working with co-packaging (co-pack) and co-manufacturing (co-man) operations. • Proficiency in ERP modules such as SAP MM, PP, or related systems, with strong analytical and configuration skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. • Experience in KPI reporting, forecasting, and vendor performance management. • Knowledge of additional ERP modules, such as Warehouse Management (WM) or Sales and Distribution (SD), is a plus. • SAP certification or advanced training is preferred but not mandatory.
