We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to be responsible for overseeing the development of reporting processes and analyzing supply chain performance. The successful candidate will understand and interpret data, enabling supply chain decision making to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. They will provide decision support and counsel by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, to support the overall strategic and operating plans of Vista Outdoor and its supply chain. The candidate will be an excellent collaborator with our partners in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, DC Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Sales, as well as a critical thinker and great communicator (both written and verbal). Data-driven decision-making, team management & development, effective communication, and technical skillset are key to this role.

This position is ideal for an individual with a strong analytical foundation with a Supply Chain/Logistics background. The person in this role will have the opportunity to develop data-driven insights to influence network strategies, operational execution, and budgeting decisions. We will look to the Supply Chain Analyst to continuously identify and develop opportunities for improving reporting processes while increasing data transparency. The person in this role will look for solutions to take raw data from several systems and transforming into valuable business insights. Moreover, in this role you will be able to create dashboards to assess key performance indicators to drive transparency and efficiency.

The person in this role will report to the Director, Sales and Operations Planning and will be based onsite in our Bozeman, Montana office.

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will have an opportunity to participate in the following:

Create, publish, and monitor relevant supply chain metrics and reporting to provide data visibility and support business needs, highlighting areas of risk with solution optionsDevelop and manage initiatives and solutions to drive improvements in data and metrics visibility across the supply chain and Vista’s end-to-end business. Optimize data flow.Be the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to understand key business metrics and definitionsDemonstrate expertise and guide functional groups to ensure reporting requirements are identified, designed, and distributed appropriately, highlighting and interpreting issues, trends, and variances within the dataChampion business data strategies with a central source of truth that drives multi-platform content as well as accountability across the organizationProvide root cause analysis to support decision-making by effectively communicating and translating data and results into business insights and actionsEffectively share clear, concise, accurate information that caters to the levels of detail needed by recipientsRespond to ad hoc requests from other departmentsContinuously work to create efficiencies and improvements within reporting, procedures, scheduling processesCreate documentation / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all process workTravel to factories as required to support business goals and supplier relations.

You have:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 3-5 years’ related experience.Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MRP and ERP systems.Strong technical skills in SQL, M-Code, DAX, VBA, Power BI, Microsoft ExcelExperience with reporting solutions and data mining in relational databasesSound understanding of business drivers and financial impacts related to inventory, cash flow, and working capital. Experience combining data from various sources together to produce cross-functional analyticsKnowledge of supply chain and/or planning, inventory, DC operations, and LogisticsStrong presentation skills, including facilitation and influencing skillsCustomer-oriented focus and ability to work in cross-functional teamsAbility to resolve high profile issuesAbility to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to schedulesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyOutcome-focused and experienced in project management to plan, track, communicate progress and ensure on time delivery of projects.

Pay Range:

$50,300.00 - $75,500.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
