Supply Chain Analyst

PPG is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Architectural Coatings within the Logistics and Distribution Capabilities team.

You will support Distribution and Logistics activities across the distribution network to improve service, reduce cost, and manage risks by structuring and interpreting complex data sets. You will also manage multifaceted problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation to help guide business decisions across the supply chain.  

You will work in a hybrid role in Cranberry Twp, PA and report directly to the Distribution and Logistics Capabilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and identify trends.Collaborate with team members and cross-functionally to create solutions that provide strategic and operational insights for a large user group.Collect, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data to help guide business decisions.Develop processes that improve efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.Complete distribution project analysis with potential for increasing operational efficiencies and lowering costs, including network design and inventory strategies.Perform flexible, on-the-fly analysis to address specific business questions or problems as they arise.Maintain documentation and SOPs of data analysis processes methodologies, and findings.Provide mentorship guidance to new and existing team members on best practices.Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Operations Planning, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline5+ years' work experience in the supply chain field (logistics, distribution, planning) or comparable work experience.Working knowledge of Excel, SAP, and various data mining software.
