Supply Chain Analyst
Job DescriptionThe salary $55,000.00. The actual offer will be based on the individual's qualifications.

Hybrid: This position requires the candidate to reside in or be willing to relocate to the Raleigh, NC area.

SUMMARY 

This position is responsible for providing complex analysis of information, problems and/or data of moderate scope, where analyses are multivariable.  Assist in driving change by analyzing large data sets and creating reports that support day to day business operations as well as informing current or proposed business solutions.  Provide decision support and counsel by collecting, analyzing data, interpreting data,  and forecasting business trends to support the overall strategic and operating plans of Advance Auto Parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs moderately complex analysis of information, problems, and/or data under general supervisionTracks, monitors, and measures benefits of implemented solutions for complex multivariable issuesVersed in SWOT and GAP analysesCommunicates perceived risks to senior staff members and leadership with risk mitigation recommendationsDevelops, analyzes and disseminates weekly, periodic, and quarterly reportsPerform return on investment (ROI) analysis to determine viability and priority of pending supply chain projects.Provide root/cause analysis to support decision-making by effectively communicating and translating the results into business insights and actions.Provide direction for project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.Confer and cooperate with all levels of operating management in formulating and developing detailed analytical analyses to support projects, day to day operations, and trends Conduct field surveys to evaluate operations and recommend changesWork with Distribution facilities and facilities management to provide pertinent and timely KPIsPrepare recommendations for senior management evaluation

In-depth knowledge of distribution and transportation processes.Effective communicator and ability to manage through influence.Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, AS/400 and PeopleSoft skillsExperience with statistical tools a plusStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work with and apply mathematical concepts to practical situations such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometryAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals or technical proceduresAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to present information and respond to questions from groups of senior management, department heads, managers, clients, customers, and the general publicAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsExperience working in retail environment preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business or another related area, and 1 to 3 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
