As a Supply Analyst at GameStop, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and transportation processes by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for gathering data across multiple platforms, identifying trends, and supporting financial forecasting related to transportation costs and supply chain efficiency. Your success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights that guide our logistics strategy and drive cost-saving initiatives.

This position will sit onsite 5 days per week in Grapevine, Tx.

Responsibilities

Data Collection & Preparation: Gather and clean data from databases, spreadsheets, and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency, maintaining a strong foundation for analysis.Transportation and Supply Chain Analysis: Analyze transportation, distribution center, and customer service data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that inform operational and financial decisions.Data Visualization: Use tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to create visual representations of data, making complex insights accessible and actionable for stakeholders.Financial Forecasting: Assist in forecasting transportation costs by analyzing historical data, market trends, and potential disruptions in supply chains, providing insights to support budget planning and cost optimization.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships across departments to capture data needs and drive continuous improvement in data quality and reporting accuracy.Reporting: Generate and distribute time-sensitive reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to assist with operational planning and financial oversight.Data Quality Improvement: Work closely with internal and external partners to refine data accuracy and reliability, supporting a data-driven culture within the organization.Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the development of new solutions, methods, and systems that enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes across the transportation and supply chain domains.Communication: Communicate data-driven conclusions with confidence, influencing business strategies and helping leadership make informed decisions.Interpreting Data: Conduct thorough analysis and hypothesis testing to interpret data trends, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights; proactively perform deep dives into key metrics to uncover opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 4 years in a similar role, ideally within transportation, logistics, or supply chain.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau), with experience in SQL.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a “think outside the box” approach, especially in financial forecasting and data analysis.Collaboration: Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively to achieve data-driven results.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.Additional Skills: Self-motivated with excellent multitasking abilities, expert-level proficiency in MS Office, and a proactive approach to enhancing data quality and integrity.
