Responsibilities:
Commercial / Financial
Develop and manage the Contract budgets for procurement and supply chain operations. Monitor expenditure on contracts against approved / signed contracts and analyze variances. Work with the procurement and operations teams to optimize costs while ensuring efficiency. Conduct cost-benefit analysis of supply chain activities, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing. Identify cost-saving opportunities in supplier contracts, logistics, and inventory handling. Analyze and recommend improvements to reduce operational costs without compromising efficiency.Procurement & Vendor Management
Implement and manage the Global Contractor Management Standard. Evaluate tenders received to assess the technical and commercial outcome. For strategic commodities, evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning to secure the right supply sources in conjunction with Supply Partners. Work with the procurement teams to structure pricing models and negotiate cost-effective agreements. Ensure that the identified supply contracts are implemented by the respective Supply Partners by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to agree on contract terms and conditions. Ensure that all contractors have active contracts in place and that these remain valid.Risk Management & Compliance
Implement and manage the Global Contractor Management Standard. Ensure compliance with local content regulations and report on local content performance metrics. Maintain a contract repository and ensure all contracts are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance on findings of all audits including the IMIU mine audits each year and close out remaining actions. Support and play an active part in the contractor onboarding and verification process.Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Manage and track all key performance indicators related to contracts, inventory trends as well as prices. Develop and maintain a price benchmarking database to track fluctuations and identify cost-saving opportunities. Identify and implement opportunities for reduction in lead time and inventory for total cost reduction in Barrickās AME Supply Chain. Continued analysis of inventory trends and identify opportunities to optimise and reduce holding costs. Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.Qualification Requirements:
Registered Chartered AccountantExperience and Skills Requirements:
Recently qualified Chartered Accountant Supply Chain knowledge and experience will be advantageous. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.What We Can Offer You:
