SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST III At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals. **What your background should look like:** **RESPONSABILITIES:** -Be the contact point for many large purchases made from outside of the company for projects -Plan and carry out large-scale projects -Assess a company’s processes and inventory, then use that data to improve efficiency and reduce costs -Monitor and collect data on current operations, including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery -Gather data on each step within the supply chain, using it to recommend changes to reduce costs -Research partner companies and seek to negotiate best-price contracts to increase business revenue -nvestigate pain points within the process and develop solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies -Negotiate with vendors and carriers to secure best pricing and ensure contract compliance -Create performance reports for management to review -Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes -Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values **QUALIFICATIONS:** **Education Requirements** -Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field -Prior project management experience -Supply chain management certification is preferred -Advanced English **Supply Chain Analyst Essential Skills** -Quantitative analysis expertise -Interpersonal communication skills -Critical-thinking skills -Organizational abilities -Problem solving skills -Knowledge of SAP. **Competencies** Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork Location: TECATE BC, BCN, MX, 92154 City: TECATE BC State: BCN Country/Region: MX Travel: Less than 10% Requisition ID: 131226 Alternative Locations: Function: Manufacturing TE Connectivity and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and operating units (collectively, the "Company") is committed to providing a work environment that prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability or any other characteristics protected by applicable law or regulation.
