Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst will play a crucial role in Optimizing the movement of goods from purchasing through production to delivery. This includes analyzing data, monitoring inventory levels, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaboration with various departments to ensure a smooth flow of products or services from suppliers to customers. The use of statistical methods and software to establish and track performance metrics and suggest improvements to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness is a required skill set for this role. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams are also key for this role.
Responsibilities:
· Interviewing cross functional team members directly and indirectly involve in supply chain process.
· Evaluating supply chain process maps for purchasing and logistics
· Identify inefficiencies in Supply Chain processes and propose improvements for enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness.
· Revising and/or creating new procedural documents
· Reviewing ERP data to improve accuracy in turn driving improved department efficiency
· Analysing and interpreting data related to inventory, transportation and overall supply chain performance.
· Attend Project review meetings with buyers to understand the process and help drive improvements
· Provide support to the buyers with order placement and follow-up to gain the knowledge of how data in the ERP impacts the day to day job functions
· Leveraging technology and software tools for data analysis, inventory tracking, and process optimization.
· Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes and staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
· Execute other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Candidate for bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or Engineering Management
· 1 or 2 semesters in a Supply Chain Management Project
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company structure.
