POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Assistant Manager, Shared Services is responsible for processing the Global Supply Chain purchase orders to guarantee compliance with procurement policy and ensure availability of products and/or services with keeping the business unit and vendor informed and updated at all times.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepares purchase orders from the business unit requirements and verify document attachments, if needed, are complete.
2. Ensure delivery dates are accurate and secure availability of items and/or services.
3. Obtain recommendations from suppliers for alternative items and coordinate with Supply Chain and/or business unit for approval.
4. Provide assistance and guidance to business units and vendors on the requirements stated in the purchase order.
5. Be able to negotiate global contracts and services.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, business units, and finance to continuously cater the need and for the smooth flow of the process.
7. Coordinates with Receiving and Warehouse for late deliveries, rejections, and other factors involving quantity and quality. Ensure coordination with involved vendor for complete delivery, proper replacement or acquire credit note.
8. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the process, incorporating feedback and industry best practices.
9. Ensures timely follow throughs and record update in the monitoring list and share update in Sharepoint to keep stakeholders informed of their orders.
10. Prepares accurate report for analyzation and assessment.
11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate superior depending on business operation requirement.
12. Ensures good rapport to maintain positive environment.
13. Keep abreast of global regulatory changes affecting vendor registration and accreditation, ensuring the company’s processes remain in compliance with evolving global standards and requirements.

• Proficiency in managing databases and utilizing relevant software for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, and effective communications with internal teams, and vendors across different regions addressing concerns professionally.
• Understanding of global regulations and compliance requirements related to buyers in all Melco properties.


QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
At least 4-year experience in Procurement or Supply Chain management
II. Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, IT, or Supply Chain
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
2. Understanding of cultural differences and business practices to effectively manage creation of purchase order on a global scale.
3. Negotiate contracts and Services
4. Capacity to develop creative and efficient solutions to improve the purchase order process.
5. Advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen understanding of relevant cost drivers for demand management.
7. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
8. Efficiently manages time and resources to meet deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.
9. Able to work under pressure.

10. Adapts to changes for a continuous improvement.
