Supply Chain Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

Toll Manufacturing Management Plan and coordinate SMF export requirements with international toll manufacturers. Develop, communicate, and monitor production schedules to align with demand forecasts and customer needs. Track output against plan, resolve variances, and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of finished goods. Oversee delivery to customers, ensuring compliance with logistics, quality, and regulatory requirements. Drive toll fees in line with or below budget through negotiation, cost tracking, and efficiency improvements. Manage tolling contracts, including renewals, documentation, and compliance. Set up and qualify new toll manufacturers for business growth and market expansion. Stakeholder Coordination Serve as the key liaison between toll manufacturers and SMF internal stakeholders (Exports, Demand Planning, Logistics, Finance, QA). Act as the conduit for new product development initiatives led by Marketing and R&D, facilitating discussions with toll manufacturers to ensure feasibility, alignment, and timely execution. Coordinate with Marketing, R&D, and Technical Services to translate product concepts into executable supply plans. Provide timely updates on supply status and resolve issues with agility and alignment across functions. Reporting & Projects Prepare and analyze supply performance reports, covering production, inventory, and delivery metrics. Support the Supply Chain Manager on projects, management presentations, and ad hoc tasks. Conduct scenario analyses and provide recommendations to improve international supply performance. Continuous Improvement Identify process gaps and implement solutions to strengthen efficiency, reliability, and cost management. Contribute to business expansion efforts through proactive supply planning and toller setup.

 

Job Specifications:

A.    Education 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

B. Working Experience

•    With at least 7 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain operations, preferably within the consumer goods (FMCG) sector and with international exposure.

C.    Other Qualifications

•    Strong financial acumen with ability to manage toll fees, track costs, and evaluate supplier proposals.
•    Proven negotiation skills to manage toll manufacturers and secure favorable commercial terms.
•    Working knowledge of the consumer goods value chain (from sourcing, tolling/production, logistics, distribution to customers).
•    Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) to effectively deal with international stakeholders and toll manufacturers.

D.    Working Conditions

•    Must be willing to travel overseas as needed
•    Willing to work beyond regular working hours (flexibility to work across multiple time zones) as necessary given nature of role
