Job Description
The Supply Chain Business Intelligence Analyst will reside within the Supply Chain Strategy & Center of Excellence function as part of the Business Reporting team. This position will collaborate with stakeholders both within Supply Chain and across Olympus businesses to define data needs, develop and implement dataflows, establish standardized process, and provide data analytics and actionable insights to support Supply Chain and related functions. This position is responsible for data mining, database design, data profiling, extraction, and transformation in order to achieve those goals.
Job Duties Assist the supply chain team in creating and maintaining reports using Power BI to provide insights into inventory levels, order processing, and logistics performance, with on-the-job training provided. Participate in the development of data flows and data sets for accurate and timely reporting. Work collaboratively with various departments to gather data and understand reporting requirements, gaining experience in cross-functional communication. Support data integrity checks across systems (SAP, Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, Warehouse Management Systems). Help analyze supply chain metrics and assist in creating dashboards to streamline reporting processes. Identify basic opportunities for process improvements. Prepare and present findings to management and stakeholders, learning effective communication skills in a professional setting. Other duties as assigned. Job QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant internships or coursework are welcomed. Related experience in a comparable role can substitute for educational requirements. Travel less than 5%.
Preferred:
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn. Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and eager to develop data analysis skills. Basic familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, or a willingness to learn. Understanding of data flows, data sets, and basic database concepts is beneficial but not required. Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Cloud is a plus, but on the job training will be provided Be a self-starter and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced matrix working environment. Experience in SAP, Oracle Cloud & EBS, PowerBI, Azure Data Lake, SQL, or other necessary data science and visualization techniques.
