Supply Chain Business System Manager

SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Business Systems Manager is responsible to define and develop solutions for Supply Chain using SAP S4 HANA and other IT tools, ensuring proper master data governance. This individual partners with the Information Technology team to support enhancement, implementation and deployment of new tools and systems for the Pharmaceutical Operations & Supply Chain (PSC) team. This individual also supports process mapping, process improvement and change management for PSC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of Master Data and processes in SAP S4 HANA, Tracelink, and other systems supporting Pharmaceutical and Supply Chain Operations (PSC)Provide business support for enhancements and upgrades in SAP, Tracelink and other toolsCoordinate and execute in-depth tests, UAT, including end-user reviews; provide post-implementation support for new Systems and ProcessesCreate and update SOPs, work instructions, process map documents for PSCCreate training plans and train others as needed in PSC tools and systemsSupport Supply Chain team members, leading and tracking day to day resolution of systems issues in partnership with the Information Technology (IT) teamSupport planning, design, develop, and launch of new business processes and systems within PSC. This includes gathering and analyzing data to develop business case, proposal for projects, and systems requirementsManage projects for systems enhancements, new tool implementation and process improvementProvide support for driving process improvement through stake holder communication and engagement, and data gathering and analysisPartner with IT to coordinate projects effectively and in a timely manner

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Education/Experience:

BS/BA degree in related discipline and a minimum of seven years of related inventory experience; or,MS/MA degree in related discipline and a minimum of five years of related inventory experience; or,Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience/The Ideal for Successful Entry into Job:

Lean Six Sigma / Project Management certification is a plusExperience with SAP Supply Chain Module is requiredProject Management experience requiredExperience in master data in SAP preferredExperience with SAP in a GxP validated environment is a plusProcess improvement experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

Strong Microsoft Office Skills; specifically, in ExcelProject Management skillsBusiness process mapping and improvement skillsThorough knowledge and experience in SAP; specifically in Order to Cash processes and Supply Chain modulesDetail oriented with emphasis on accuracy and completenessOrganizes and prioritizes numerous tasks and completes them under time constraints with limited supervisionAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

JOB COMPLEXITY:

Works with cross-functional stakeholders to get alignment and decisions in a timely mannerWorks on business problems requiring data analysis and change managementActs as a bridge between IT and Business Functions to translate business requirements into IT deliverables

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $129,500 - $183,500 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate’s geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors.
