Position Summary
The Supply Chain & Commercial Manager will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the Company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, while driving commercial success and maintaining strong client relationships. This role will require a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and commercial acumen to ensure smooth operations and profitability. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders to create and implement tailored supply chain solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients in the restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management:Oversee the full supply chain cycle from sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Ensure timely and efficient replenishment deliveries, meeting client expectations for pre-scheduled deliveries. Optimize temperature-controlled equipment and delivery routes to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Lead efforts in demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure uninterrupted service to restaurant chains. Commercial Leadership:Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their supply chain needs and providing tailored solutions. Negotiate with suppliers, partners, and service providers to secure favorable terms and drive profitability. Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and competition to adjust strategies and meet revenue goals. Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain and commercial team. Foster a collaborative and resilient work environment that aligns with Company’s values. Implement best practices, continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Risk Management & Resiliency:Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity. Leverage Company expertise in overcoming challenges, ensuring that operations remain robust during difficult times (e.g., hurricanes, economic downturns). Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensure that all supply chain processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Maintain high standards for product quality and service excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or commercial roles, preferably within the foodservice or retail sectors. Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving profitability. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex supply chain operations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient in supply chain management software and other related tools. Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.Key Competencies
