Supply Chain Consultant (f/t)

Job Description:

1. Scheduling and leading calls with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product Management to obtain the necessary customer and product information to compile the monthly demand plan;

2. Leading discussions with management regarding operational challenges;

3. Run ad hoc projects as directed by management;

4. Guiding junior team members and serving as a subject matter expert;

5. Comparing the Demand Plan to the Revenue Outlook, highlighting any gaps and working to close these, thus ensuring Sales and Operations plans are interlocked;

6. Preparing the monthly sales area/region sales and operations interlock review material and leading the discussion with management, highlighting significant gaps to plan or outlook and any risks or issues that require attention;

7. Participating in weekly/ad hoc meetings with Operations/Supply Planning to provide a status update on consumption of the demand plan and actions to ensure plant/supplier capacity and material plans are optimized based on the latest order forecast position; and

8. Promoting the importance of effective demand planning with Sales, analyzing results, and compiling root cause and trend analyses to drive process improvement actions.

9. Part-time telecommuting is permitted.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Engineering Management, Operations Management, or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in an Operations Management occupation. Experience must include:

Six (6) years of experience comparing the Demand Plan to the Revenue Outlook.Six (6) years of experience preparing the monthly sales area/region sales and operations interlock review material.Six (6) years of experience promoting the importance of effective demand planning.Six (6) years of experience analyzing results and compiling root cause analyses to drive process improvement actions.Six (6) years of experience ensuring plant/supplier capacity and material plans are optimized.

OR

Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent* in Engineering Management, Operations Management, or a related technical field and four (4) years of experience in an Operations Management occupation. Experience must include:

Four (4) years of experience comparing Demand Plan to the Revenue Outlook.Four (4) years of experience preparing the monthly sales area/region sales and operations interlock review material.Four (4) years of experience promoting the importance of effective demand planning.Four (4) years of experience analyzing results and compiling root cause analyses to drive process improvement actions.Four (4) years of experience ensuring plant/supplier capacity and material plans are optimized.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service and is found to be equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted. References required.

Work location: 864 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Annual salary range: $90,709 to $105,600.
