We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth however, exceptions for alternate work arrangements may be considered.
Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing
In this role, you are responsible for establishing optimal long-term and high-dollar procurement contracts while also representing Supply Chain in support of Aircraft Programs.
What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Contracts Professional
Lead supplier management initiatives including evaluation of current and existing suppliers for strategic fit, preparing, and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs), and facilitating the bid evaluation and down-selection process.Prepare negotiation strategies, conduct contract negotiations, and finalize contract award, with resources such as cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools.Design and manage a contracting approach that will place a large majority of commodity spend on LTC with a rationalized supply base that delivers superior cost and availability.Maintain compliance with all contracting regulations, industry standards, and internal administrative requirements.Partner with Engineering Design Teams, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to create optimal solutions including cost effectiveness, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Assess, maintain, and utilize Bell information management systems for reports, key performance indicators, correspondence, files, presentations, analyses, and contract administration.We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Analytical experience in commodity management, key performance indicators, business cases, profit, and loss.Demonstrated ability to be successful in the face of ambiguityStrong analytical skillsExperience and understand of direct/indirect commodity pricingExcellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to company leaders.What you need to be successful
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, business, finance, or related program is required.2 years supply chain management experience in all or some of the following areas: Strategic Sourcing strategy and techniques, financial analysis, cost analysis of commodity, raw materials. Etc.Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BIPreferred - Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools.Preferred - DOD / USG Contracts Processes.What we offer you in return
